#TBT: The Mission Continues on The Daily Show

Eric Greitens, founder of The Mission Continues, made his debut on the The Daily Show with Jon Stewart last spring. His appearance coincided with the start of our 2013 Bravo Class Orientation and the induction of 70 veterans to The Mission Continues Fellowship Program.

For a young nonprofit organization, the appearance was also a significant moment in our growth and ability to reach a new audience (it turns out quite a few young veterans watch Comedy Central).

To our delight, the filming of the episode would not be our last run-in with Mr. Stewart. A cohort of Mission Continues Fellows were invited to take part in an eight-week Professional Immersion Program for veterans at The Daily Show. In recognition of his support, Mr. Stewart also served as the Guest of Honor at our Veteran’s Day Gala last November.
