The Mission Continues with Vice President Joe Biden

Last Wednesday, 55 veterans and family members went to The White House to cheer on the riders in this year’s Wounded Warrior Ride.

President Barak Obama kicked off the Soldier Ride, an annual event that brings together Wounded Warrior Project alumni -some active duty and recovering from injuries at Walter Reed, some veterans- to complete a multi-day bike ride to raise awareness for wounded warriors.  The stories of the riders were inspiring, to say the least. These were stories of strength and determination to recover from wounds, both seen and unseen..

The Mission Continues received an honorable mention from the president during his introductory remarks,  a special moment for all of our veterans in attendance.
