Teams of veterans are forming nationwide as the newest Mission Continues Service Platoons. The Service Platoon Program brings together teams of veterans with local community organizations and volunteers to build stronger communities. United by the common bond of military service, platoons offer veterans the opportunity to make an impact in their community, and connect with others through regular social and networking events. It’s also an opportunity to serve alongside a motivated team and tackle a tough and meaningful mission.

The newest platoons will be located in the following cities:

Boston, MA Houston, TX New York, NY
Cleveland, OH Kansas City, MO San Jose, CA
Columbia, MO Los Angeles, CA Washington, D.C.

Each service platoon will adopt a mission for the year and coordinate service events that address their mission. In addition to the ongoing service events, Service Platoons will also come together for professional and social events including networking sessions, family outings and weekend retreats. Membership is open to veterans of all eras, active duty service members, and members of the National Guard and Reserve. Participation in the platoon is up to each individual veteran. Leadership positions are also available to members searching for a deeper role of service in the platoon.
